So, what can you do once you are at this point in your life’s journey? How do you get to the answers and where should you get started?


The simplicity to finding the answers of life’s questions makes you doubt if it is real or maybe, untrue?, but let me assure you… the truth... IS SIMPLE enough.


By connecting with your Higher or Supreme Self within.” All answers are found.


The human body is regarded as a gateway to the understanding and realization of the Supreme self and through sustained effort and true seeking you will find it within yourself.


And… Here is where I come in... Hi, I'm Sunandini Kumar and have been living and breathing Yoga for over 30 years now and I will teach you how to navigate through your questions and understand who you are through age old techniques. I will show you how to find your answers. Answers that no one else but you can find. I will guide you through this process to help you raise your awareness and give you access to what you always had within.

Over the next 2 days retreat, I will workshop with you to:


1. Learn & Understand Yoga & Meditation:


  • Understand body yoga to help you loosen your limbs and create a sense of focus on body and self.

  • Understand Yoga meditation and the philosophy of life and its purpose through well-documented teachings in books.


We will delve into the 5 Meditation techniques:

o Fire meditation

o Breathing meditation

o Sound meditation

o Rhythm of mantra meditation

o Outdoor meditation


2. All about Chakras:

Meaning of each Chakra and its purpose. Translated from Sanskrit to English.


  • Chakras (or Wheels) are energy centers in our body. The most common Chakras are the 7 centers that when understood and realized can bring you to a full understanding of the Supreme self.

  • Out of the numerous species the Human is the most fortunate. We have a capability to understand and merge with the Supreme Truth from a conscious state to a higher ‘superconscious’ state.

  • Our body represents the whole of creation. Made up of five elements, we represent the physical process of the universe and the biological process of the human body.


The five chakras co-relate to these as follows.

o BHOO EARTH

o BHUVAR WATER

o SUVAHA FIRE

o MAHAR AIR

o GNANA ETHER


The two higher Chakras are:

o MANAS MIND

o SATHYA BEYOND (TRUTH)


Seeing each chakra through meditation creates an emotion to it. Here, you will learn its purpose and how it co-relates to your body/mind/energy.

3. Understanding Foods & Herbs with a focus on healing: Ayurvedic cooking techniques


  • Food and herbs play a vital role in our well-being, not only nourishing our bodies but also supporting our healing processes. In Ayurveda, the ancient system of holistic medicine, food is seen as medicine, and cooking becomes an art that harmonizes the body, mind and spirit.

  • Ayurvedic cooking techniques emphasize the use of fresh, whole foods, herbs, and spices that possess specific healing properties. Each ingredient is carefully selected to balance the body's doshas (energies) and promote optimal health. By understanding the unique qualities of foods and herbs and learning how to combine them in Ayurvedic cooking, we can unlock their healing potential and cultivate a state of vibrant wellness.

  • From balancing spices to herbal infusions and mindful preparation methods, Ayurvedic cooking empowers us to create nourishing meals that support our physical and emotional well-being.


4. Concluding session: Magnets to Happiness & Peace


We will have an interactive session by coming together as a whole in which you will learn how you can create a magical life for yourself and become a magnet to happiness and peace everywhere you go.


The world needs more of us now than ever before. We are born with a wonderful gift of knowing who we are and how we can live a fulfilled life.
